Eco Unesco Finalists

Congratulations to the TY group who have qualified for the Finals of Eco Unesco 'Young environmentalist awards 2014'.

The Biodeversity project entitled 'Barn Owls' was selected to go forward to the regional finals in Claregalway in March and has now qualified for the All Ireland final stage of the competition in the Mansion House on Tuesday the 20th of May. A video diary, powerpoint presentation, poster campaign, Facebook page and school visits were incorperated into the project. The group also produced 6 Owl boxes which are to be erected in the East Clare area.
