Board Games in library

This year the TY students, along with the help of Ms. Purcell and Ms. Condren, set up a games room in the library for Junior Students, but senior students are also very welcome.

As part of doing Gaisce, the President’s Award, the TY students are helping to mentor first year students through a Buddy System. We realised that the board games would be a good way for the younger students to get to know each other.

Every Wednesday and Thursday, the library is open at lunch for students to come in and play different board games such as Four-in-a-row, Kerplunk, Chess, Draughts, Charades and many others. Overall this has been very enjoyable for both T.Y. and the younger students.
