Newgrange Art Trip

18th November 2013
On the 14th of November Scariff Community College Art students went to newgrange monument in Co. Meath on an expedition. The students learned many new facts such as:
- Newgrange was built in 3,200 BC
- Nowth and Dowth are two mounds are situated nearby
- it was built before the pyramids gyza
We then went into the mound and viewed the art inside and the signatures etc. on the wall.
It was a very educational day and a great day out.
