3G Astro Turf Facility for SCC – Fundraising Drive
We, at Scariff Community College, are really excited to share our plan for the development of a 3G Astroturf Sports Facility here on our school grounds.
We know that this flood-lit & all-weather facility which will be useable all year round, will prove to be of huge benefit and value, not only to us as a school community, but also, to people of all ages in our local communities across East Clare.
The wheels are already ‘in motion’ for this project. Planning permission has been granted and an application for Sports Capital Funding, with the support of Scariff RFC, has also been made.
As this project progresses, we will continue to apply for all and any funding/grant monies that we may be eligible for. However, the reality is that the vast majority of the cost of this project will have to be raised by us, ourselves, as a school.
This project is a huge undertaking so we really need your support please !
Our first fundraising event for this project is a Christmas Draw. Tickets are €10 each. They are available to buy from students of SCC.
The prizes include a PS5/PlayStation 5, an Apple iPhone 13, a stay for two people at Ashford Castle 5* Hotel and many, many more great prizes. Our sincere thanks to all businesses who have sponsored/donated.
