SCC is thrilled to announce that the funds raised so far have reached €400,000! As we draw closer to our target, we’re excited to share two upcoming events aimed at raising the final funds needed.
On February 1st, we will be hosting an afternoon of entertainment for ladies at the Lakeside Hotel in Killaloe, called “Nourish and Flourish.” This event promises an enjoyable afternoon of fun, fashion, and food. SCC Uniform Reuse Scheme

The Parents Association are accepting donations of any SCC uniform items that are no longer needed in your household. Any items that are in good condition can be left in the box at reception. We accept jumpers, half-zips, jackets, trousers, skirts, shirts/blouses, polo shirts, and PE gear.
This has been a highly successful initiative and has enhanced our Green Schools status. Please take a moment to look through any unused or outgrown uniforms in your home. Many items collected thus far have been redistributed to new and existing students at SCC. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Scariff Community College is set to electrify audiences next week with its much-anticipated production of We Will Rock You, inspired by the iconic music of Queen. The musical kicks off a three-night run in the Scariff Community College Hall, starting Tuesday, December 17th.

Appointment of acting Deputy Principal, Scariff Community College

Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board recently announced the appointment of Jack O’Connell as the acting Deputy Principal of Scariff Community College, Scariff, County Clare.
A graduate of Mary Immaculate College Limerick and Hibernia, Jack is a qualified teacher of Maths and Gaeilge and completed a Professional Diploma in School Leadership from University of Limerick. He has also worked as a Tutor with Mary Immaculate College Limerick. Junior Cycle Schoolbooks Scheme 2024/25

For the 2024/25 school year all students in Junior Cycle years will be provided with schoolbooks and certain other resources such as the core classroom requirements of copybooks, calculator etc. These will be provided early in the academic year 2024/25.
All schoolbooks and core classroom resources provided under the new scheme will remain the property of the school, so that they can be reused in future years (where applicable).
