On Wednesday, our division 2 teams competed at the Clare Schools Badminton event on St.Josephs, Doora Barefield. The u16 boys won their match against Ennis Community College to be crowned County champions & progress to the Munster finals in January. Our u16 girls came 2nd to Killaloe. All had an enjoyable morning playing Badminton & meeting friends
Our division 3 teams played superbly at the Clare Schools Badminton competition on Monday last . Both our u14 girls and u16 boys won their matches against St Joseph’s Tulla & Ennis Community College to be county champions in their division . Well done …

First Year Parent-Teacher meeting is scheduled for Wednesday 29th November 2023. This will be an ‘in-person’ meeting but with the option of online attendance available if preferred. (When registering, you must select ‘attending in-person’ on ‘online’ or ‘not attending’.)
The PTMO system is open now until 4pm Thursday 23rd Nov for input of parent/guardian.
Please note that you will not be able to request appointment/slots at or opt to attend PT meeting after this time. This PT meeting is APPOINTMENT ONLY. Parents/guardians who turn up without registering, will not be able to meet teachers.

Stand Up Awareness Week.

Stand Up Awareness Week is when students and staff at Scariff Community College recognise and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community by participating in a national campaign run by Belong To Youth Services. Through this important campaign, Scariff CC are showing solidarity with LGBTQ+ young people to ensure they feel seen, heard, and safe. 
 Events will include; raising of the LGBTI+ Rainbow Flag, a Baking Competition and a Wear the Rainbow Day. 
 Stand Up Awareness Week takes place in schools across Ireland and is now in its 14th year.

Our Under-19 boys’ soccer team advanced to the last 16 of the John Murphy Cup after a hard-fought victory over their opponents. After a scoreless first half, Lee Harrington broke the deadlock on 60 mins, coolly finishing from 18-yards after a defence splitting pass by Ronan Keane.
