SCC Helping our local Community – SVP Christmas Hampers
Scariff Community College is proud to support our local community this Christmas in conjunction with Saint Vincent de Paul. Our TY team is leading a school-wide Christmas Hamper Appeal, and we are inviting every student to contribute at least one food item/ one luxury food item suitable for Christmas hampers. Suggested items include non perishable food , a box of chocolates, a small selection box, biscuits, or any festive treat that would help bring a little extra joy to a family in need.
All donated items will be shared with families in our own local area through St. Vincent de Paul. Christmas can be a challenging time for many, and often small treats are beyond reach when families are struggling with day-to-day essentials. With your support, we hope to make the season a little brighter. Each year group will prepare hopefully at least one if not more hampers.
Students may drop their items to Ms. Mc Namara’s office any day this week.
We kindly ask that all items be brought in by Friday 12 December
Please note: non-perishable items only and no alcohol can be accepted.
