SCC Success at Munster Schools’ Badminton Final 2023
Our badminton teams put in a very long day at the Munster Schools competition today in UL. Each of our 4 teams had to play the champions from the other Munster counties and after all their efforts, it was silver for the boys u19 team, losing out on the top spot by just 2 points – a tiny margin after 18 games played. The u16 boys also claimed 2nd place while the girls u16 and boys u14 came 3rd. Sincere thanks to all parents who drove the teams in this morning and supported them throughout the day. Our u19 girls team were unfortunately unable to travel to the competition. Thanks to Ms Mortell and Ms O Brien for all their work with our teams.
