Athletics in SCC
All students are introduced to a variety of cross country and track and field events during PE class. Students are then given the opportunity to participate in various events throughout the year.

Alice Akers is Scariff Community College’s most successful athlete to date. Alice graduated in 2015 having won an athletics scholarship to the University of Nebraska. At that time she was North Munster, Munster and All Ireland champion in the hammer event and a record holder for these events.
