Weather Alerts
The principal will notify the school community (parents and staff) of weather warnings through the vsware text alert system. Information about weather alerts may also include posting updates on the school’s website. Parents are encouraged to ensure their contact information is up-to-date with the school office to receive timely alerts. In the event of severe weather conditions that may necessitate school closure or delayed opening, the school will communicate this decision as early as possible to allow parents to make appropriate arrangements for their children. Given the unpredictable circumstances that may arise, notice will be given up to 9pm in the evening before a school-day once consultation has been undertaken with relevant stakeholders.

As our staff and students travel from various locations, please always make the decision on whether it is safe to travel to school or not depending on your own local weather and/or road conditions. Safety is always priority. Also, please note that school bus transport will not operate in a status red weather alert.
