Our Guidance Counsellor Ms. Byrt is planning on providing an optional Career Options Assessment for 5th years. It would complement the work already carried out in the Career Guidance classes. The results will help form the basis of a 1-1 ‘Careers’ appointment with Ms. Byrt.

Parents/Guardians – By now, you should have now received your appointment schedules for the upcoming 5th year parent-teacher meeting which takes place tomorrow Thursday 13th Jan. 2022. Copies of schedule were distributed to students yesterday (posted where students were absent).
Meetings will be conducted via your son/daughter’s teams account. To join the PT meeting, log on to his/her teams account. Sixth Year Academic Monitoring & Student Voice

In November, every Leaving Certificate student had a meeting with Ms. Purcell (Year Head) and I to review their progress since returning to school in September and specifically their November Assessment results. Students were encouraged to reflect upon their own learning in the previous term, identifying areas of strength and areas for potential improvement. The approach was holistic in nature, with reflection also on sleeping routines, healthy eating, exercise and general health in addition to academic progress.
