Warm thanks to artist Ian Kelly on the completion of this beautiful bog oak sculpture entitled, “Emergence”. This very special piece was commissioned by Scariff Community College to be the Edna O’Brien perpetual award for writing in our school. The project was funded by Creative Ireland and Ian, who himself is a past pupil. Capturing the essence of the creative process, this impressive sculpture will be formally awarded to sixth year student Emily Chen, the 2022 winner.

The Worldskills Ireland event brings together enterprise, industry, education, training and government agencies to showcase the range of apprenticeships and courses available.
