As I am sure you can appreciate, the need to get information out quickly and effectively is all the more important in these uncertain times. Text is not always appropriate and has limitations especially when it comes to length of content to be included. Emails can be problematic where accounts are not accessed or checked routinely and/or where address details are incorrect.
So in an effort to address this, we as a school have signed-up for the VSware Communications Package which includes VS-Mail.
In order to get the best use out of this package for parents/guardians and for our school, I am …

Our Transition Year students this week have been taking advantage of the lovely fine weather to get out and about working on the school grounds. The girls have been preparing a raised bed for planting “Andrea’s garden” – a memorial garden to honor Ms Andrea Mc Mahon a teacher who gave so much to our school before her untimely death some years ago. The girls cleared up around the garden and carried out some much need renovations after our absence from the school over recent months. There was a lot of weeding to be done and the newly cleared soil …

Last week, we the new TY’s enjoyed a fun and adventurous time at Derg Isle. Thankfully the weather was nice on both days which made the trip more enjoyable. On the first day we got split into three different groups and each group got to try out different activities such as the obstacle course, rock climbing, kayaking and paddle boarding. The obstacle course was very tiring but fun and helped us bond together better as a year group. The rock climbing wall was challenging but was definitely worth the climb for the view. For the water activities we got to choose …
